Trail condition
No hands-on climbing is normally required.
No significant exposed sections or dangerous drop-offs.
The trail is well defined and generally easy to follow.
Getting there
By Public Transport
Trailhead:
1) Go to Puli Bus Station.
2) Take Nantou Bus 6658, 6659, or 6664 (南投客運) toward Cingjing / Cuifeng and get off at “Cingjing Guest House.” (國民賓館)
3) Transfer to Bus 6658A toward Hehuanshan and get off at the “Xiaofengkou.” (小風口)
4) From Xiaofengkou, search for “Hehuanshan North Peak Trail” on Google Maps and follow the walking directions to the trailhead.
By Car
Trailhead:
1) Navigate to “Xiaofengkou Second Parking” (小風口停車場) on Google Maps.Limited parking is available.
2) From the parking lot, search for “Hehuanshan North Peak Trail” on Google Maps and follow the walking directions to the trailhead.
